"Super Cup" 2022 - 2023

The 'Super Cup'.

For that added excitement and, based on popular demand, we introduced a Champions League style 'Super Cup' whereby those managers finishing in the Top Three of each League at the end of the season will partake in the 'Super League' the following season, along with the current HOLDER of the 'Super Cup' trophy.
The one remaining place will consist a play-off between the two Cup Winners ('Bradford Park' Challenge &'Barnstoneworth' League Cup), dependent on placings i.e. or 4th places of the respective Leagues.
NB: A Manager can only have one team in the Super Cup.

Here is how it works.

The Cup is drawn on an "Open Draw" basis, a new draw being made for each round following the preceeding one.

1. Entry fee for the cup is included in League fees.

2. The First Round will consist of two groups of four teams, a Group A and a Group B, each team playing the other twice, a total of six games. There will be specified dates for each fixture.

3. Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for a Win and 1 point for a Draw. Points scored in the specific week will count towards your total. The scores will still count towards your League total for that week.

4. The Top two in each Group will qualify for the Semi - Finals. If points are equal then best goal difference will count. If goal difference is equal then most number of goals scored. If still equal then the result between the two teams concerned.

5. Semi - Finals: The Winner of Group A will play the Runner-Up of Group B and the Winner of Group B will play the Runner-Up of Group A in a two-leg knock-out. The Winner of each match will obviously progress into the Final.

6. The Cup Winner and Runner Up will receive cash prises (see PRISES).
