How to Play/Enter

The National Fantasy Football League is about selecting the best possible team of Premier League footballers and scoring points based on their actual performances during the 2021/22 season.

Selecting a Team

There are no limits on the number of players you can select from any one club and you can choose any of the following six formations: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-5-1, 3-4-3 or 5-3-2. After that, you'll have 40 transfers to use throughout the season. Just some pointers before you start:

• Study the 'Players List' carefully. Please note that you cannot select a player that does not appear on the list.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU QUOTE THE CORRECT N.F.F.L ‘ID CODES'.

• As always, you can spend up to £50 million. Your Team must not exceed this value, but may be lower i.e. £49.5 million.

• Your team must have 11 players, using either of the formations stated above.

• Give your team a name.

• A scoring week runs Tuesday to Monday.

• You may transfer the same player as many times as you wish.

• Make your transfers either by E-mail (preferable) or text.

• Weekly updates - Scores will be updated in the media every week, the N.F.F.L. website will be updated in time for the coming weekend.

• NFFL Season – The nffl season commences, as always at the beginning of September, proposed date being 14th September.

Making Transfers

You can make up to 40 transfers per team. You can use these during the season to replace injured, suspended and under-performing players with those that are in-form to keep your points tally ticking over. Any number at any specific time can be used in a Game Week (Tuesday to Monday).

You'll be able to make transfers between the majority of kick-off times - as long as there are at least two hours between the scheduled kick-off times.

The two-hour rule

The only exception to this rule will be when matches overlap - which tends to happen fairly infrequently. So, for example, if there are kick-offs at both 1pm and 2pm, or if there are matches starting at 7:45pm and 8pm - then the earliest kick-off time of the overlapping matches will be the transfer deadline for those matches.

In the case of delays to kick-offs, the initial scheduled kick-off time stands for the purposes of transfers.

You can transfer at the very last minute so long as the player you are transferring out has not played during that scoring week, otherwise he remains.

The Cost

Following on from continued success, the cost, which has not increased in seventeen seasons' now, remains a budget price of £2.00 per month (September - April) - per entry to the League (which includes League and Super Cup fees). We have now bought the Bradford Park Challenge Cup cost into the normal monthly costs and therefore becomes £16.00 for all cup - An absolute bargain! This year, due to COVID circumstances, we start October.
